Why Magical WDW Vacations?

For my Disney park newbies (Hi and welcome!) out there, WDW is an acronym for Walt Disney World.  Congratulations, you’ve just received your first lesson on Disney park lingo, and there is a lot of Disney park lingo.

It’s no secret to my family and friends that I love Disney.  Like most children, the earliest movies I watched were Disney films, and my love began there.  I remember in elementary school being Princess Jasmine for Halloween three years in a row.  Aladdin was a family favorite because it was a movie both my brother and I enjoyed.  My granddad fostered my love by showing me the classics and reading Disney bedtime stories to us my mother and her sisters grew up hearing him read.  While I loved Disney, and my family was a fan of the films and books, I didn’t grow up going to the parks.  I took my first trip to Walt Disney World around the age of 5.  The highlight of the trip was me convincing my brother to play with me in the hotel’s outdoor shower because I was terrified of getting in the pool.  My family took another trip when I was 15, and my husband, Michael, and I went again for our 1 year wedding anniversary when I was 22.  Then, December 2015 happened.  My mom and I decided to make our Disney dreams come true by booking a trip to Walt Disney World at Christmas time.  I did hours and hours of research and thoroughly enjoyed planning my heart out.  It was the most magical trip of my life.  I had never experienced Disney like that.  I went from loving Disney to obsessed with Disney.  In the two and a half years since then, I have been an additional 8 times and just finished up my first year as an annual passholder.

I started this blog because I want to help others create magical Walt Disney World vacations.  I don’t just want to help you plan any Walt Disney World vacation, I want to help you plan a magical one.  Here I will share my personal tips and tricks, must dos and go-tos for experiencing Walt Disney World as well as keep you up to date about what is going on in the parks and what you need to know if you are planning a visit.  I hope you find this blog helpful and that you stick around!

Have a magical day!
